Happy Friday! I wore this cute twist back sweater a few weekends ago when it was actually somewhat warm out. Since the weather here in Denver has been a little temperamental, my sweaters will not be put away yet. It has been known to snow in May or even June! I’ve seen so many photos of spring dresses and cute sandals! I have to say I’m a little jealous. Beach vacay anyone??
Neutral animal prints like this one have always caught my attention. Leopard print seems to get a bad reputation, like the loud track suit your eclectic aunt wears. I prefer something a little more subtle. The brown and black in this sweater is definitely more my style. And who doesn’t love the little details that make a piece unique? I adore the twist back on this sweater an think its so cute! I added a few other twist back sweaters that I love down below.
I have a lot of rules for myself when it comes to style…and life for that matter. One of them is no open toe shoes in the winter months. It’s too cold. I made an exception for this day because it was almost 70º out! These are definitely my favorite booties from the fall and recently saw them on sale for under $100! If you follow me on Instagram, you will know that I also found some great dupes for under $40. They are surprisingly comfy for the heel height and the beige color is perfect for any outfit. Any who…
We took a trip out to Rhode Island recently to visit my husband’s family and friends. I don’t get to travel often and I forgot how exhausting it can be! There are no direct flights from Denver to Providence so the layover and time change make for a long day.
Since we were not able to make it there around the holiday’s it was great to see family and friends. And have some good seafood! Honestly, Denver has some great seafood but it seems a little ironic that we are eating seafood in a state that doesn’t have an ocean for over 1,000 miles! I don’t know. Maybe that’s just me.
