Roses are Red Cold Shoulder Top + Cropped Jeans
Wrap tops can go either way for me. They are either way to large leaving a gaping neckline exposing my bra, or they are way to tight in the boobs and also leave my bra showing. I realize in some instances, flaunting your brassiere can be stylish, even classy if done right. However, this was not the look I was going for as I wore this to yet another Target run for the week.
When I tried on this top, I was surprised that the fit was neither of the above scenarios. It fit so well! The off the shoulder detail is so cute and feminine and I love the red rose print. This top is great for a casual outfit when paired with some distressed jeans as I did. You could add a pair of dark jeans and some cute pumps. Or even a pair of faux leather leggings! I added this gold choker necklace and like to style it with low necklines or your basic crew neck. To add a little more gold detail to the outfit, I wore these studded block heels which are the perfect alternative for the more expensive version.
Weekend away
We are in New Jersey this weekend for a wedding. A good friend of my husband is getting married and we are excited to get away for a few days. We did have a little time to explore this area and found a couple of cute restaurants. Watch for a post on our trip soon.
I can’t believe that next weekend is already Labor Day weekend! Summer went by so fast! We all seem to be so busy but I hope you were able to fit some fun trips over the summer and I would love to hear all about it. What was your favorite part of this past summer?
