Denim & Plaid

Happy Wednesday!  I’m sitting here on this 4th day of spring… snowed in.  2 days ago we had 70 degree weather and we now have over 10″ of snow, and still accumulating.   I guess if you have been Colorado long enough, you know the 2 foot snow storms mean spring.

Today’s outfit was meant to be worn to run errands at the grocery store and post office, but ended up being for catching up on the 3rd season of Scandal from the couch.   This chambray shirt has to one of my favorite staples in my wardrobe.  You can wear it both dressed up and down or simply thrown it over a cotton shirt dress in the summer for extra warmth on those cool Colorado evenings.

I was surprised to find that theses skinny black jeans came in a tall size!  Tall girls must have the hardest time finding jeans that are long enough for a 34″ inseam.  These are long enough to wear with a pair of flats in the summer or easily tucked into  a pair of boots in the winter.  I love winter scarves and probably have way too many.  This scarf is one of my faves because it is not too bulky and the length is perfect.
