Flowy Mint Tunic + White Jeans Outfit for Spring

Happy Monday!  I’m so excited that I have only 3 more days of work before I leave for Mexico!  I can’t wait to get away from this snow (yes, snow) and have some girl time on the beach!  This week can’t go by fast enough!

We had a great weekend.  We went to a BBQ which was a lot of fun but just not the same with a foot of snow on the ground. Not to mention having to walk in and out to grill. Sunday’s weather was much better. We made it outside for a nice walk and it was even warm enough to wear a t-shirt. Colorado is weird.

So, what is it about this mint color that says spring?  I started loving this color when my good friend from nursing school was obsessed with it (You know who you are!)  Before Saturday’s snow, it was really starting to feel like spring.  I love wearing pastels in the spring and am so ready for some warmer weather over here!Flowy Mint Tunic

Flowy Mint Tunic

This flowy mint tunic is one of my favorites because its so comfy and soft.  It’s so easy to put  on over a pair of jeans or shorts.  I have even seen it advertised as a dress so if you are short enough to pull that off, I hope you do!  However, I don’t think that will be socially acceptable for me to try.   The deep V and button at the neck make for a very flattering neckline and I Iove the flowy, asymmetrical hem.

This color is no longer available since it is from last spring, but I have linked the same top in other prints and colors.  There is a royal blue color now that I have my eye on!!

I have been a sucker for a block heel lately.  I would always want to wear heels but know my feet would be killing me 10 minutes in.  My feet are pretty spoiled and get to wear comfy tennis shoes to work every day and don’t do well in heels.  However, block heels are a whole different story.  They are so much easier to walk in than stilettos and my feet can make it a whole day!  These ones are no exception and they are even under $35!  I can (and have) wear them with so many outfits.  They are definitely my favorite heels right now.

A pair of white jeans is a wardrobe staple in my book.  These jeans are a few years old and honestly, I’m shocked I haven’t stained them yet.  These specific pair are from Alloy.  I love this company because they have long inseams.  I can find so many pairs of jeans and pants that fit well and don’t look like I’m waiting for a flood.
